Receiving a diagnosis of pelvic organ prolapse or experiencing bladder issues or lower back pain can feel overwhelming and isolating. It’s common to avoid exercise out of fear or to feel hopeless when pelvic floor exercises haven’t provided relief.

This is why I am passionate about teaching these classes, as I have the privilege of showing women not only how to exercise safely but also how exercise can be a powerful tool for healing.

Old injuries, scars, inflammation, and ageing can deeply affect our movement preferences as we unconsciously adapt to avoid discomfort. This has a significant impact on our core and pelvic floor healing, which can be incredibly frustrating, especially when pelvic floor exercises don’t seem to work or when we struggle to feel our core even years after giving birth.

This is precisely why, in my core and pelvic floor healing classes, we don’t just focus on exercises to regain strength. I also teach you how to rebalance the soft tissues that influence our movement, using the same techniques I share with my one-to-one and massage clients.

With consistent practice, much like peeling the layers of an onion, you will start to notice how and where you are avoiding movements that limit your core and pelvic floor use in everyday life.
